A grieving Sharon Osbourne was seen wearing a large gold ring with diamonds on a gold chain around her neck at her late husband Ozzy Osbourne’s funeral on Wednesday in Birmingham, England.
One fan speculated on social media that the ring Sharon wore was Ozzy’s wedding ring, worn on a chain as a tribute to him during her mourning.
Page Six reached out to reps to confirm whether the ring Sharon wore was indeed Ozzy’s wedding ring, but did not immediately hear back.
Ozzy owned an extensive ring collection throughout his life, and fans speculated that the ring Sharon wore possibly belonged to him.
Sharon and Ozzy had a long-lasting marriage, renewing their vows twice throughout their 43-year union. Their first wedding took place in 1982, with subsequent renewals in 2003 on their show “The Osbournes” and in 2017.
Despite challenges in their marriage, including infidelity on Ozzy’s part, Sharon and Ozzy decided to stay together and renewed their vows a second time in 2017.
On the day of Ozzy’s funeral, Sharon and her children were visibly emotional as they approached a memorial site to pay their respects to the rock legend.
The family also plans to hold a smaller, private funeral for Ozzy to lay him to rest.
The heavy metal pioneer, born John Michael Osbourne, passed away on July 22 at the age of 76 after battling various health issues.
After his death, Ozzy’s family released a statement expressing their sadness and asking for privacy during their time of mourning.
